Joe Lasher Jr. plays the tasting room at Highland Brewing Company, Asheville, North Carolina

Born and bred in the Western North Carolina mountains, 16 year old Country Singer/Songwriter Joe Lasher Jr. is quickly becoming one of the most sought after regional musicians. Although he's young in age, his voice and musicianship are that of a seasoned veteran. Joe's influences range from mainstream Country Artists like Blake Shelton and Jason Aldeen to classic rock icons like Springsteen, Bob Seger and the Marshall Tucker Band.

The Joe Jr Band features young regional artists with the same passion for performance and mastery of their craft. Zach Haney, on lead guitar and backing vocals, has performed regionally for some time. This left handed 20 year old infuses a rock/blues edge into their progressive country rock blend. Jason Surrett, on bass guitar and backing vocals, solidifies the guitar line up and ties the front line together. Driving the tempo on drums is Indiana Native, Western NC Resident, Will "The Animal" Beverly. Will's hard hitting style yet masterful execution drives the Joe Jr. band to excellence and crowd pleasing performances.

2013 has been a break out year for Joe Jr. and his band. He has been called "one to watch" and "a force to be reckoned with". If you love contemporary and classic country music, classic rock and blues, or just good music with a youthful southern flare, you won't want to miss a show by the Joe Jr.

Band was very well rehearsed and the songs were well crafted but nothing special Sounds like all other modern country kinda lame. Chick on bass guitar has star quality. I could listen to her sing all night.

Lead singer is talented, good voice but he tries to hard. Needs to play his dues but has potential as a singer and a songwriter. Needs maturity. Seems like a nice kid.

Sound could have been better. Vocals were a bit buried in the mix but not bad.
