This robust porter has a full body with some hints of chocolate from the Chocolate Malt and Midnight Wheat. The mild hop aroma showcases the roasted flavors and subtle fruit and spice notes of the artisan fair-trade, organic coffee, roasted in the neighboring town of Black Mountain at Dynamite Roasting Company.
Hike with us
Thunderstruck, like our other seasonals, is named for a feature of the Southern Appalachian landscape. Please join us on a seasonal, naturalist-guided hike, with our guide from Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC).
Join the party
We throw a release party for each seasonal beer in our Tasting Room, posted on our Calendar. Join us for a fresh brew and learn something about this area from our friends at SAHC.
For more information about our efforts with SAHC, please see our Stewardship page.
