Scotty, Highland Brewing’s mascot,
is finally old enough to drink beer!
You're invited to the party.

We are throwing Scotty a 21st birthday party on Saturday, April 11, 2-10pm. Adding to the day is a look-alike contest with two $200 winners, live music by the Resolvers, and a new IPA that shows the bolder side of Highland. Scotty’s 21st Birthday Double IPA hails from the pilot room and will be available on draft only at the brewery. The high-gravity, West Coast IPA is Head Brewer Hollie Stephenson’s creation, clocking in at an aggressive 10% ABV. IPA fans will love this double dry-hopped, aromatic, and full-bodied beer. To please all palates, we will offer it alongside several other small batch brews and our year round favorites all day.

And we've got other party plans for you...

Can you pull of a kilt and a red beard? Even if you don't have a red beard, grow, borrow or spray paint one and join the Scotty Look-Alike Contest. Two people will win a $200 gift card: the People’s Choice, selected by popular vote, and the Judge’s Choice, named by our panel. Bring your friends to gather votes! Register to participate by April 8 simply with an EMAIL your full name, birthday, cell phone number, and why you think you’ll win the Scotty Look-Alike Contest. Join the party by 4pm and we will name winners at 6pm. Dust off your kilts and bagpipes!

We will have Highland-themed props in a custom photo booth, where guests can pose in a life-size Highland logo. Giant beer pong and giant Jenga will super-size the birthday entertainment in Highland’s Meadow.

It’s your party, too! The first 100 people to arrive in kilts receive a free commemorative birthday glass, also available for purchase on site. Our huge birthday cake will be made by our own Hospitality Team member, Kayla Cochrane! She is a graduate of the elite Cordon Bleu culinary school in Atlanta. Cake-cutting is at 4pm and will be complimentary - we will feed about 300!

Food trucks will be on site serving up tasty local dishes.

Music by The Resolvers (visit web site)

The Resolvers play in the style they coined "Big Band Reggae" combining classic jamaican roots and lively new orleans stylings. Siblings Ojay & Sahara Smith (son and daughter of Ernie Smith) both take turn on lead vocals roles and the band features a 4 piece horn section. Their show has been described as "explosive" and "must see", and the band has gained the reputation as a premier reggae act. The Resolvers have shared the stage with The Wailers, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Damian Marley, Kymani Marley, Inner Circle, English Beat, Yellowman, Matisyahoo, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Mishka along many other world renowned acts in major International festivals such as Marley Fest, Jamaican Jazz & Blues Fest, Sun Fest, Aura Music & Arts Fest, Dub Fest and more.
