Who’s thirsty?
The 2nd Annual Asheville Beer Week is happening May 25 through June 1, 2013—eight full days of celebrating all things beer in Asheville, North Carolina. The week of events will include tastings, dinners, beer education, keynote speakers, and other beer-related fun (and nonsense). Asheville Beer Week culminates with Asheville’s 4th Annual Beer City Festival on June 1, where dozens of breweries (and plenty of live music) are slated to appear on Roger McGuire Green. - See more at: http://ashevillebeerweek.com/

Firkin is another word for cask. Cask ale or cask-conditioned beer is the term for unfiltered and unpasteurized beer which is conditioned (including secondary fermentation) and served from a cask without additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure. Cask ale may also be referred to as real ale. In other words, OLD SCHOOL BEER! We’ll also be featuring BARREL AGED beer and SPECIALTY beer brewed just for this festval!
