Based in Black Mountain, NC, "The Mug" has played venues both large and small throughout the Southeast.

The band is fronted by one of Asheville's Premier Guitarists,
Brian "The Mug" Milstead. Brian has performed with such Blues icons as Jimmy Thackery, Tom Principato, Steady Rollin' Bob Margolin and Big Bill Morganfield just to name a few.

Other members include journeyman drummer Dave "D'Bomb" Soltis of the groups "Rocket 88" and "Night Train". On keyboards, a man who needs no introduction, mainly because we never know who it will be. Providing the bottom end, Asheville legend, David "The Doctor" Owenby on bass. We would like to thank our friend Tom Copola for providing the Keys on Parchman Farm & It's My own Fault,

"The Mug" plays an energetic mix of original and classic Blues, Funk and Rock tunes guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet and yelling for more!
