About Ignite

Ignite talks are 5 minute presentations with 20 slides each, where the slides auto-advance every 15 seconds. Ignite Asheville hosts 10-12 talks per event along with other activities aimed at connecting, inspiring and enlightening you.

This year we’re making Slideshow Karaoke shorter and funnier. Prepare yourself and grab the limelight with an improv presentation to a random collection of wacky slides!

Volunteer

Before the event we’ll need help spreading the word through social media, blog posts, flyers and more. If you know WordPress, you can help out with the web site. Or if you like throwing events, you can help us generate buzz with preview events before the main event.

During the event we’ll need help setting up, checking people in and ushering. If you have stage experience, you can help our lighting, sound, photography and video crew. Or help spread Ignite by live blogging or tweeting during the event.

After the event we’ll need help organizing photos, uploading videos and writing posts about the event.
